Empowering Digital Learning
Background
St Martin’s School in Kibagare, Kangemi, is an urban school with a high learner population. With CBC emphasizing ICT integration, the school needed a modern computer lab to support digital literacy.
Challenges
The school’s existing computer lab had outdated Pentium and Core 2 Duo desktops, which were incompatible with modern CBC-required software. Teachers struggled to deliver lessons due to slow machines, and learners lacked exposure to modern digital tools.
Our Intervention
Lab Redesign & Modern Equipment
We restructured the lab setup and installed 45 brand-new Core i5 12th generation desktops. These machines are faster, future-proof, and capable of running all CBC software smoothly.
Interactive Learning Tools:
Installed the Klickit EduTouch interactive projector, allowing teachers to deliver engaging lessons through multimedia presentations.
Curriculum-Aligned Content
Klickit CBC learning content was pre-installed on all desktops, ensuring learners had structured access to educational resources.
Capacity Building
Teachers received hands-on training to help them adapt to using the new equipment, projector, and CBC-aligned content.
Impact
