Background
Thika Road Christian School is a private institution in Safaripark, Nairobi, with learners requiring digital exposure as part of CBC.
Challenges
The school had no structured ICT setup. Teachers lacked tools to integrate digital content into lessons, making CBC implementation difficult.
Our Intervention
Device Deployment
We introduced tablets to all classes in Grades 1–3, ensuring students could engage with digital learning from an early stage.
Connectivity & Control
Content access points and Mythware Classroom Management Software enabled teachers to monitor and guide students effectively.
Safe Device Management
Charging cabinets were deployed in each classroom, ensuring secure tablet storage while allowing all devices to charge simultaneously during non-use.
Curriculum-Aligned Content
Klickit CBC content was installed on all devices, giving both teachers and learners access to structured digital lessons.
Capacity Building
Comprehensive teacher training sessions were conducted, focusing on practical classroom use of the tablets and troubleshooting.
